Merry Christmas!

What a fun Christmas our Paet family had this year. The children had a wonderful time opening their presents and everything turned out to be such a great gift!

There were thoughtful presents for the children from:

Aunty Johanna
*Currently they are tucked in their bed with these. . .

Aunty Amber
*They immediately had lunch on these. . .

Aunty Jenny Rose
*Running around being a superhero can sure wear them out. . .(thank you!!)

Our beautiful quilt from Jenny. WOW!! Thank you so much!

And the children just loved all the gifts from Grandfather and Gran:
We take turns, starting with the youngest, opening presents.

Looking closely, Gabriel can be seen with his head hung down low stating, "I wanted that for Christmas."

Which thrilled Kaleb to no end!
Gabriel's envy was soon forgotten - when he saw his Hot Wheels super track.
Cloe asked for a puppy that would cuddle and do tricks. She was just so excited.

Izack loved the trick played on him with the wrapping of his Nintendo DS game. To throw him off of what was inside - it was wrapped, placed in a box, wrapped, then placed in a bigger box that was wrapped. He got a good laugh out of that.

Then the reaction when he realized what it actually was . . . PRICELESS!

We love that Grammy and Papa, Aunty Nui and Uncle Sam come over every year to spend Christmas day with us. In fact, this year Papa and Grammy made breakfast for us all! It was such a treat!
Here Cloe is using her camera from Santa to take a picture of Grammy and Papa in the kitchen.

This interactive rocking horse was given to Kaleb from Grammy and Papa. (Papa told of how he carried it through Costco, then stood in line holding it. A lady offered if he'd like to put his horse on her cart while waiting in line. Well, you just don't get an offer like that every day! Ah, the Christmas spirit.)
Once Kaleb got the hang of rocking, he could be heard galloping through the whole house.

It was a wonderful day for our family. The children didn't even try to narrow down a favorite gift they enjoyed them all so much. The toys are still all over the living room. I think we'll give that the weekend before I'm back to, "keep the toys upstairs and out of the living room, please."

We hope all we know and love had a very Merry Christmas, too!
