With the Olympics opening today, I felt patriotic. Top it off with it being a special date: 08-08-08
I wanted to commemorate the day and show a little patriotism.

What better way than to go spend $$$$$ on the Army base then collect the receipts? So I filled up my gas tank (8 minutes shy of 8:08AM - shucks), had breakfast, and got groceries all on Schofield Barracks. Very patriotic wouldn't you say?

A thought just sprang to mind - it wouldn't have been cool at all for my first receipt to instead be a ticket for "using the cell phone while driving on post." whew.
